Busy is an 11 month old, 36 lb. stout mini Aussie. Busy is the life of the party - the first to arrive and the last to leave. She is 100% all about play and fun with other dogs and would do best with another young dog to play with. She loves toys, loves the outdoors, and loves life! We joke that she is a “morning dog” because she is especially happy and excited first thing in the morning and ready to “carpe diem!”

She LOVES to be with other dogs. She snuggles with them, takes toys over to them and stands over them offering tug of war with me inviting body language, and she LOVES running super fast and playing hard rough and tumble with them. She is all puppy! Her favorite pastimes include tug of war, unbuild a bear, and chase the ball. She LOVES to hear a toy squeek and will carry it around for hours squeezing it and wiggling happily that she’s so smart to be doing it.

Busy is outgoing, brave, friendly and loving with human and dog visitors. She is good with dog savvy cats (although she wishes they would play with her), ignores free range chickens and has been friendly and respectful with dog savvy horses in the barn aisle. She has not been around children while in foster care, but is still working on basic obedience, including leash training and jumping, so she would do best in a home with children over the age of 12. She is very sensitive and wants to please her person.

She does well when crated and is not food motivated or food aggressive. She can hold her own with a bigger dog in hard play situations. She is not afraid of storms or going out when it’s raining. She loves to snuggle in the tv room at night during movie time and loves to sleep with you if you’ll let her, though she is a bit of a bed hog! She does have an off switch thankfully, but only when she’s had a full day of running and letting off that Aussie energy.

Busy is being fostered in the DFW area and available for adoption in Texas and parts of Oklahoma only. She is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, and on monthly Heartworm preventative.
