REMI

Stats:  6 months old, female

Location:  Dallas. TX

Intake:  May 2026

Adoption Fee: $325

Social: #Remi551

REQUIREMENT:

  • friendly, playful, & social dog in the home

Remi is a 6-month-old miniature Australian Shepherd who is just beginning to discover how fun and joyful life can be. She weighs 21 pounds and is learning to build confidence with each new experience.

Remi has a calm, low-energy demeanor, though her playful and curious side is starting to shine through more every day. She can be a bit timid when meeting new people, often taking a thoughtful, watchful approach at first. Once she feels safe, she settles into a comfortable presence and gradually warms up—especially once she’s chosen “her person.” From there, her circle expands to others in the home.

Remi enjoys playing with her foster siblings and can become quite enthusiastic during playtime. She may need guidance in learning when her pup friends are ready for a break, as her excitement doesn’t always have an off button.

Remi is still discovering the joy of toys. She hasn’t shown much interest in tennis balls or frisbees—aside from occasionally grabbing them from her foster brother—but she has recently begun to explore soft toys, happily carrying them around and chewing on them. She’s doing great with loose leash walking and enjoys getting out to explore the world around her. Her perfect home will continue to provide regular socialization in and out of the home.

She has just started to find her voice and recently discovered her bark, though she remains a generally calm and quiet pup. Remi is unfazed by loud noises, including thunder, which speaks to her easygoing nature.

Remi is crate-trained and house-trained. She is generally trustworthy in the home, but her curiosity toward things like cords or shoes is starting to emerge. Remi responds very well to training and already knows important cues like “drop it” and “leave it.” She thrives on routine and structure. With patience, gentle encouragement, and continued exposure to new experiences, Remi is sure to continue blossoming into a wonderful, loving companion.

Remi is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, Heartworm negative, and on monthly Heartworm prevention. She will be adopted out on a spay contract.

Remi is being fostered in College Station and will require the adopter to travel to her. Her adoption fee is $325 and you can complete an adoption application. If you already have an application on file with us, you can contact us saying you are interested in Remi.

Please note: All our dogs are adopted as inside pets and family members only and all current or past pets in the home must have proof of being kept up to date on vaccinations and Heartworm prevention - NO EXCEPTIONS!
