Welcome our digital Adoption Center! Since LSAR is a foster-based rescue, our rescued Aussies are placed in various homes throughout our service area with volunteer fosters who care for them right up until they are adopted. Our online Adoption Center allows you to see all these smiley faces at once! You may also visit our facebook page for the most current information and ongoing updates.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: 

• All dogs are available for adoption to homes within Texas only, and, in some cases, Oklahoma.

• Applicants must not have children younger than 5 years old in the home. See FAQ for more detail.

• All adopted dogs must be kept as inside pets.

• As part of the adoption process, vet checks will be done to ensure current and/or past pets are properly cared for (i.e. up to date on vaccinations and on Heartworm prevention) - NO EXCEPTIONS!

 

Please do not submit Adoption Applications for pets marked "Coming Soon." All incoming Aussies are evaluated for a minimum 3 weeks to allow to them time to decompress, be properly evaluated, receive any necessary medical care, etc. Applications will be accepted only when the pet's full and complete bio is posted here/facebook.
